Instructions to Henry G. Sherwood, 1839, November 7.

Facsimile of a document from Joseph Smith to Henry G. Sherwood, instructing him to pay John A. Hicks fifty dollars and deduct the same from Smith. The notice reads that the money is for "our expenses on the road," and it also authorizes the sale of a lot promised to Jonathan Hampton if necessary.
